North to Shore The Festival Only New Jersey Can Handle
Newark Arts Council invites performers, programmers, artists, curators, collectives, and community organizations to apply for North to Shore Newark Community Grants in support of the North to Shore Festival Newark, taking place June 13 to June 27, 2026.
These grants, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, are designed to support live performances, exhibitions, and arts and cultural programming that reflects the energy, talent, and richness of Newark. Funding will support activity across all wards of the city, ensuring that North to Shore reaches and celebrates communities throughout Newark.
This opportunity is open to musicians, bands, singers, comedians, visual artists, curators, producers and programmers who are excited to be part of a statewide festival with a distinctly Newark voice. We encourage proposals that center joy, community connection, and bold artistic expression.
If you have a vision to bring people together through arts and culture, we want to hear from you. Join us in shaping the Newark experience of North to Shore 2026.
